Water Sports

During peak season we provide safe and fun filled waverunner rentals, jetboat rentals, kayaks, paddleboats and banana boat rides from various locations on the gulf and bay sides.  All of our captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and support staff is CPR & First Aid certified regularly by the American Heart Association.

Waverunner Rentals

Our waverunners are a great way to have fun in the bay and see the island in a whole different way! Our dock is located at the end of Palm and Laguna on the bay at Palm Street Pier.  Turn left off the causeway, left at Howard Johnson’s then straight to the end of the street.

Reservations are not necessary as all Waverunner are rented on a first come, first serve basis.  Docks are located on the bay at Palm Street Pier. The dock is usually open by 10:30am and closes one half hour before sunset during peak watercraft season of Memorial Day through Labor Day.  At other times, please call ahead as the dock can be opened for special reservations and by appointment only.

Rules

• All riders must sign a waiver and minors under 18 must have a parent present;
• Riders must be 16 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license to ride alone;
• All riders must wear a lifejacket and follow all instructions of the dock attendant
• Our dock attendant, upon his/her discretion may deny rental to anyone who appears unfit or unable to operate the Waverunner safely.

Jet Boat

A great way to include the whole family in the fun is by taking a jet boat ride with our licensed captain.  The boat can take up to 6 passengers and requires 24 hour notice.

Paddleboats and Ocean Kayaks

These are also available from the dock at Palm Street Pier and rent by the hour or by the day.  Advance reservations are available for these and group rates may be available.  Call the beach line for questions: 956-761-5622.

Banana Boat Rides

Rides are available on the gulf during most weekends during peak season. Rides last approximately 15 minutes. All banana boats are pulled by licensed captains and require a waiver and parental consent.  Riders may board at various locations on the beach.  Call the beach line 956-761-5622 for locations.
